Mereworth School Council

Our school council is made up of two representatives from each year group. We work together to improve the school through pupil suggestions, tackle fundraising issues and charity work, as well as voting on new equipment for the school playground.

Year 3 – Maxwell and Sienna N
Year 4 -Harper and Penny
Year 5 – Jack and Joe
Year 6- Bea and Ted

If you have any ideas for us to discuss, please leave them in the box below (you may need a parent or carer to help you!) or you can write them on some paper and put them into the school council box opposite the hall by the white doors.

Over the first term, we have been concentrating on the library. We are continuing to work on the plans that the School Council made last year.

Our next project will be focusing on an ‘Idling Campaign’. We will be working with our classes, our families and the local community to look at the parking available and how best we can improve issues such as air quality and congestion.
